One Day In Formentera

Good morning dears.

At home, it seems that the summer is already over, today there is a thick cloud cover over us. So a good time to think back of a wonderful day in Formentera. There are really beautiful beaches, almost Caribbean. All the rich and famous who reside not just in Ibiza, you find on Formentera :-), but less on the beach than on their yachts. The Beach Bars on Formentera operate the yachts regularly with enough champagne: D

If you spend your holidays in Ibiza,  I can only recommend a trip to Formentera, here there is a lot to see, and it is a day of absolute rest and relaxation in the hustle and bustle of Ibiza.

Guten Morgen meine Lieben.

Bei uns Zuhause scheint es, als wär der Sommer schon wieder vorbei, heute liegt eine dicke Wolkendecke über uns. Also eine gute Zeit um an einen wundervollen Tag auf Formentera zurück zu denken. Dort gibt es wirklich traumhafte Strände, fast karibisch. Alle Reichen und Schönen, die sich nicht gerade auf Ibiza aufhalten, findet man dann auf Formentera :-), allerdings weniger am Strand, als auf ihren Jachten. Die Beachbars auf Formentera bedienen die Jachten dann regelmäßig mit ausreichend Champagner :D

Ich kann jedem der Urlaub auf Ibiza macht, einen Ausflug nach Formentera empfehlen, hier gibt es einiges zu sehen, und es ist ein Tag absolute Entspannung und Erholung bei dem ganzen Trubel auf Ibiza.

Soul Beach

After our wellness mud pack at Cala Es Bol Nou we are passed by a super beautiful pebble beach, the Platja des Codolar. Again a new beautiful place in Ibiza where we've never been before. Actually, we have only seen this little sign (in the second photo) and then we went through the bushes to see what lies behind it. And I can tell, it's an absolute secret place. So if you are looking for a secluded beach in Ibiza, then at this place. Though, the beach is full of fist-sized pebbles, so not for the sandy beach-lovers (as I really am), but still so wonderfully beautiful.

There is a really great beach bar, "Soul Beach", where you can lie down on the traditional Iberian white beds and enjoy cocktails or something else.

The scenery is fantastic because you can look so far, and when you lie on one of these beds, and have only the sky above, the aircraft flying over you, because the beach is behind the airport. But the chill-out music of the Soul Beach makes an absolute relaxation possible and the sunsets here are like painted.

Nach unserer Wellness-Lehm-Packung an der Cala Es Bol Nou sind wir an einem super schönen Kiesstrand, dem Platja des Codolar, vorbeigefahren. Wieder ein neuer wunderschöner Platz auf Ibiza, an dem wir noch nie waren. Eigentlich haben wir nur dieses kleine Schild (auf dem zweiten Foto) gesehen und dann sind wir mal durch die Büsche um zu sehen, was sich dahinter verbirgt. Und man kann sagen, das ist ja ein absoluter Geheimtip. Wer also einen einsamen Strand auf Ibiza sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Allerdings ist der komplette Strand aus faustgroßen Kiessteinen, also nichts für Sandstrand-Liebhaber (wie ich eigentlich bin), aber trotzdem so wundervoll schön. 

Dort gibt es eine echt tolle Beachbar: "Soulbeach", hier kann man sich auf die für Ibiza typischen weißen Betten legen und Cocktails oder ähnliches genießen.

Die Kulisse ist traumhaft weil man so unendlich weit blicken kann und wenn man auf einem dieser Betten liegt und nur den Himmel über sich hat, fliegen ab und an die Flugzeuge über einen, weil der Strand gleich hinter dem Flughafen liegt. Die Chillout-Musik des Soulbeachs macht aber eine absolute Entspannung möglich und die Sonnenuntergänge hier sind wie gemalt.

Finally summer is broken out at our home, for me it could stay that way.

On one day of our holiday in Ibiza, we were truly at an amazing beach:

Cala Es Bol Nou

This is a cute little bay surrounded by clay rocks.

There, you could make a mud pack of the clay of the rocks. Some residents from Ibiza believe the sand brings happiness.

We have just tried of course, we'll see if the clay pack also brings happiness to us.

PS: I had to wash my bikini at home four times to get the mud only partially out; D haha​​, but it was a great experience.

And like almost every day, we had a snack with bread, olives and aioli.

Endlich ist der Sommer bei uns Zuhause auch mal ausgebrochen, von mir aus könnte es jetzt noch einige Wochen so bleiben.

An einem Tag unseres Urlaubs in Ibiza waren wir  an einem echt beeindruckenden Strand: 

Cala Es Bol Nou

Das ist eine kleine süße Bucht, umrahmt von Lehmfelsen. 

Dort konnte man sich aus dem Lehm der Felsen eine Fangopackung machen. Einige Bewohner Ibizas glauben das der Sand Glück bringt. 

Wir haben das natürlich gleich ausprobiert, mal sehen ob uns die Lehm-Packung auch Gllück bringt. 

P.S.: Ich musste meinen Bikini Zuhause vier mal waschen um den Lehm nur ansatzweise heraus zu bekommen ;D haha, aber es war eine tolle Erfahrung.

Und wie fast jeden Tag gab es zwischendurch Brot, Oliven und Aioli.
